b) Travel component: Each tour is in relatively small groups, even in the peak summer season the average size is still only 7. With Option A you can select 3, 5, 8, 10 or 12 day tours to complete after your course of studies. Option B allows you to take a break from your studies and do the tour for either 10 or 12 days before resuming studies - a flexible program that allows you to see festivals such as the fantastic Gion festival in Kyoto, and the Nachi Fire Festival during the summer, or the Sapporo Snow Festival & skiing/snowboarding opportunities in Hokkaido during the winter. Option C is completely flexible. It is also possible to do the tour only. Weekend & extra-curricular activities: At Yamasa there are also a wide range of weekend tours and activities - Discovery program students receive priority placement for all of these activities and also for some events will receive additional discounts.
