Policy regarding Extensions

Students who wish to extend their stay at Yamasa can easily do so by emailing Admissions or dropping by the Admissions Office in Aoi Hall.

Your extension will be automatically approved provided that you prove that your visa status permits the desired period of extension (Admissions will inspect your passport and certificate of registration) and if your academic and attendance records are appropriate (Admissions will check with faculty before authorizing any extension).

Note 1. Please note that documents required for visa extensions will not be issued if you have not paid any fees due in the previous period of study.

Note 2. Please note that extending students are given priority for housing - you usually will not need to move to alternative accommodation.
