1) Partial discount of tuition during the agreed period of study. This is subject to regular review of academic performance. This includes an interview every 3 months in the case of student holding a student visa, and every 4 weeks in the case of extension programs.

Possible variations

2) Accommodation Allowance

The Hattori Foundation may provide an Accommodation Allowance not exceeding 30,000 yen per month (net) to help the student meet their accommodation expenses. The allowance will be valid for accommodation arranged by the student housing office of the Yamasa Institute only.

3) Textbook Allowance

The student may receive an allowance not exceeding 10,000 yen for the purchase of Institute supplied textbooks and study materials during their studies.
