The Yamasa Institute and the Working Holiday Visa

If you are Australian, British, Canadian, French, German, Korean or a New Zealander , and are young, single and interested in living, working and learning in Japan, then perhaps you should be considering the Working Holiday Program and Working Holiday Visa.

Working Holidays in Japan are a great way to see and experience all that Japan has to offer, and unusually free of bureaucratic strings. The flexibility offered is currently unmatched by other visas.

Also, discounts on tuition and other benefits are available from The Yamasa Institute with the support of the Hattori Foundation. For more details click through for information on What the working holiday visa is, how it works and feedback.

Q - Why is the working holiday status restricted only to the above nationalities?
Dev Mukajee, India

A - The working holiday visa is an official visa status issued by Japan's Immigration Bureau. The Yamasa Institute has no role in these processes. The Japanese government negotiates reciprocal working holiday agreements on a government-to-government basis. At the time of writing Japan only has working holiday agreements with the nations listed above. For the latest information it is usually best to contact a Japanese embassy or consulate.
