Some of the sites for the day include...
-Shiratori-garden: one of the biggest Japanese gardens in central Japan. Sunday, August 20 - Otogawa Yana
-Ayu - Catch fish with your hands. Monday August 21 - Iseshima, Osatsu A two day trip into the spiritual heart of Japan...
-Lunch at the famous "Meoto-iwa" shrine at the "Wedded Rocks". Tuesday August 22 - Mt. Asakuma, Okage Yokocho, Grand Shrines of Ise In the morning, a traditional breakfast, then via the Ise-shima Skyline to the top of Mt. Asakuma to look out over the town and the bays. -Stroll around Ise, eat lunch in Okage Yokocho, a small town with sake brewery houses, inns, tea shops clustering together in the vicinity of the Naiku Shrine of Ise-Jingu Grand Shrine, the most venerated Shinto shrine in Japan. Wednesday August 23 - Handa, Tokoname A day looking at some of the traditional crafts of Japan.
-Arimatsu Shibori Museum - textiles and the different kinds of
traditional dyeing techniques. Thursday August 24 - Kyoto The large sprawling city of Kyoto - the home of Japan's imperial family from 794 to 1868. To help gain a feel for the city and its history, we visit three locations representing different periods in the city's long history.
-Heian-Jingu shrine - designed to replicate the Imperial Palace of the
Heian era (794-1185). Friday August 25 - Okutono, Asuke
-Okutonojinya - a 1300-year-old village for green tea in a traditional
