Three consolation prizes, and participatory prizes for all entrants. Open to all students enrolled in any course at Yamasa and attending classes between June 1st and August 18th. You can enter if you are in a class for all or at anytime during those dates. Format: Maximum size 2.5MB including images. 4MB if video files included. Any number of pages, images, amount of text is OK. Use of Java, frames etc is OK. You may enter as an individual or a team. Please produce a static HTML page - ie no databases, chat rooms, bulletin boards, etc. Language: Feel free to write in English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, German (or Japanese). The homepage must also contain at least 400 characters of Japanese overall. Submissions: Anytime up to 6pm Japan time August 18th, 2000. Your entry can be sent by email (if not too big), disc, CD-ROM, or placed on the internet somewhere and the URL emailed to us with your entry details (see below) . You do not have to be in Japan at the time of submission. All submissions become the property of Yamasa, and may be placed by Yamasa on the student network. Any postal entries must include your entry details on a short covering note. Entry details: When submitting the site please include your name, Student ID Card number and class. If you will have finished your studies at Yamasa before August 25th, please inform us of your contact details. Privacy: Please note that your address, date of birth, email address, telephone number will not be made public at any time by Yamasa. Any personal contact details on the site will also be removed. Support: while you are at Yamasa, you may borrow a digital camera for up to 2 hours for taking photos and can use the computers in the computer rooms for preparing your page. While you are here, we will scan any number of printed photos/negatives you want to use on the homepage for free (this is not possible once you have returned to your country).
