Private/Semi-Private - Program Dates

The Program is totally flexible, and can be commenced at any time, except on the Public Holidays listed below.

April 2003 to March 2004 Academic Year:

Public Holidays:

Public Holidays during the program. Saturdays/Sundays are always holidays and so are unlisted

APRIL/29 - Green Day
MAY/05 - Children's Day
JULY/21 - Ocean Day
AUGUST/13-15 - Bon Festival
SEPTEMBER/23 - Autumn Equinox
OCTOBER/13 - Taiiku Day
NOVEMBER/24 - Labor Day
DECEMBER/23 - Emperor's Birthday
JANUARY/1-4 - New Year
JANUARY/12 - Coming of Age Day
FEBRUARY/11 - Constitution Day
MARCH/21 - Spring Equinox

Arrival Information:

If you are arriving at Nagoya Airport, a free pickup service is provided if you are arriving on one of the days listed in the arrivals schedule. For students enrolling in the Private/Semi-Private programs, if you are arriving on a day for which an airport pickup is not scheduled then the fee is only 2000 yen. (Please note that this fee is well below cost - the one way airport bus service from the Airport to Okazaki station is also 2000 yen. By comparison the highway tolls that our staff pay to drive to the airport are 3000 yen return, and that cost does not include the substantial parking fees, gasoline/petrol or the faculty member's time - who often will be meeting you in their own time, unpaid and using their own own cars. Please note that we require an absolute minimum of 3 days notice for this service. Please give us at least 1 weeks notice if you are arriving on a Sunday or public holiday)
