SUMMARY: The Yamasa Institute Scholarships are specifically aimed at assisting students who are (a) currently enrolled in Yamasa programs, (b) currently enrolled at partner universities or institutions or (c) university graduates with an excellent academic history who are applying for academic programs and are able to prove financial need. Priority is usually given in the following order:
1) Students currently enrolled in ACJS Academic programs
Applicants are advised that competition for the available scholarships is extremely strong and that the support of Japanese language faculty at your current university or alma mater is considered absolutely essential. Selection of Scholarship recipients is made purely on the basis of academic ability, financial status and character references. The Hattori Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of age, gender or nationality. |
