Welcome to FM Okazaki! We are a Japanese community radio station broadcasting at 10 watts on 7.63 FM in the Eastern Mikawa region of Aichi Prefecture. Our main studio is located in Aoi Hall on the campus of the Yamasa Institute in Okazaki City. (Enlarge) The 'electronic footprint' (map) of the transmission reaches most of Okazaki City (the mountains in the north of the city prevent the signal from reaching some of the communities in the north-east), and all of Anjo City, Kariya City and Chiryu City. The signal also reaches parts of Toyota City, Nishio City, Kota Town and Nukata Town. Students of the Japanese Language Institute broadcast a program on Friday afternoons called "Shaberiba Wai Wai".
