This website is aimed at assisting participants in the JET program. The site is funded by the Hattori Foundation, a non-profit philanthropy established in 1919.

Whether it is information about teaching, mutual support, good holiday destinations or buy/sell - whatever supports a JET in their work placement, lifestyle etc - is welcome. If you are in a small isolated place somewhere, we hope this site may provide some extra peer support and an opportunity to share ideas and experiences.

For new or prospective JETs, the Programme Information section should give you a good head start on preparing for life as a JET.
