Mountain Norikura, 8. 2002

My small car, used Suzuki Alto, but yoku ganbatta.
I climbed this mountain three times. Twice on bicycle, once by car. Whole way is about 30 km. Continuously uphill.
Something like this.
No more than 20 kilometers.
Last part of the way. Pass is on the right side. That`s the goal, dream, if you`re riding bicycle and are still alive.
Neverending.
2600 meters above sea level.
Snow in the August.
Hello! My first picture in Japan, where my head is not in the middle and my legs aren`t cut. The man who took this picture was obviously good photographer.
Road from above.
On the top. You can see central parking lot and hotels.
Norikura Skyline on the other side of the mountain.
Norikura Skyline again.
My bicycle on the top. After riding 50 km from the camp including 30 km of climbing. Cold on the top and the same distance before me. Happy but...... (border betwee Gifu and Nagano prefecture)
.......but incredibly hungry. A eat this and the similar one. Overall lunch cost was 2500 japanese yen.
