Costs for Studying Online

Only Freeware/shareware and/or software applications that are widely available are used.

Unlike many distance learning programs, students do not need to purchase special software or CD-ROMs.

The textbooks are widely available and do not need to be purchased from Yamasa. Many texts will be available free and open source.

You will need access to the internet, but you don't need to have your own computer. Your password will remember you settings and language preferences - so if you are a native speaker of German and log on using a Korean Operating System during a business trip, you won't need to battle with Korean instructions - the interface will automatically serve you with your usual environment.

Individual components of the OCJS program are available for use by intermediaries such as Japanese language teachers without incurring the cost of whole program usage.
